Our team operates a large fleet of heavy equipment and maintains an organized laydown yard to support multiple active job sites. We are seeking a motivated, mechanically inclined professional—preferably with military experience—to join our team in a hands-on, high-responsibility role supporting fleet readiness, yard operations, and jobsite logistics. The Fleet & Yard Operations Technician is responsible for maintaining heavy equipment, supporting field crews through material delivery, and managing organization and efficiency within our equipment yard. There’s a lot of construction going on all around us these days!   If you’re an energetic individual who would thrive on being part of this exciting industry, Special Testing Laboratories is looking for diligent, observant and strong individuals to help inspect soil and concrete. No experience is necessary, we will train you!  Your day will consist of visiting various construction jobsites in the Connecticut and New York areas, working directly with project superintendents. You will learn, on-the-job, the skills needed to be successful in this role and other potential roles within the company.  This is an entry level position with OTJ Training.   Certifications are a plus but not required.
