General Description Tyonek is performing operations and sustainment support for the Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations office. As a working shift lead and member of an ARGOS team, the shift lead will create a positive work environment that promotes a culture of ARGOS teamwork, mutual respect, and individual ARGOS job skills growth. The successful candidate will have experience supporting aerostat flight operations on platforms similar in size to the TARS aerostats. Duties Support aerostat pre-launch, launch, ascent, transition, station keeping, and recovery. Perform recurring equipment maintenance on aerostat and radar systems. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. Read and understand schematics, technical drawings, and engineering data and reports. Calibrate equipment. Support the site operations in the areas such as security, landscaping and logistics. Performs a variety of administrative and technical operator functions.
