This position is based at Fairchild AFB, WA and requires CONUS/OCONUS travel to support maintenance operations throughout the United States and overseas. Ideal candidates are experienced KC-135 Crew Chiefs with a strong background in flight line maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and ensuring aircraft mission readiness. Military Intermediate level experience is a plus DUTIES Reviews blueprints, schematics, and safety procedures while complying with engineering specifications and maintenance instructions utilizing NDMS CONOPS systems. Disassemble, repair, rework and complete overhaul of various components such as Tire/Wheel assemblies, Brake systems, landing gear, shock absorbers, arresting gear to include tail hooks and launch bars.
