Kairos House is a short-term residential program located in Burlington County that offers a safe, therapeutic option for those who are at risk of hospitalization due to exacerbation of their mental illness; or for those who need further stabilization and/or a transition period following an inpatient stay. Services include case management, treatment, housing assistance, wellness groups and life skills training. The Support Specialist provides mental health services to adults who have a chronic mental illness in a respite setting. The Supportive Employment Specialist is an integral member of the Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) team, providing individualized employment and educational support services to individuals experiencing early episodes of psychosis. Using the evidence-based Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, the specialist assists clients in identifying and achieving their vocational and educational goals while integrating these supports into their overall recovery plan.
