The Mary Dobbins Social Worker works closely with other members of the school/clinical and residential staff to develop and provide a quality treatment and education experiences of the students and their families/guardians. Provides clinical assessment, counseling, and psychotherapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups. Conducts evaluations, including mental status examinations and psychosocial histories, to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans using accepted diagnostic classifications (e.g., DSM). Delivers ongoing clinical social work and/or psychotherapeutic counseling to address mental health symptoms, psychosocial stressors, and relationship challenges. Engages in clinical consultation through case discussions, treatment planning, and client-centered advocacy, collaborating with relevant individuals and entities to support therapeutic goals.
