Doyon Government Group (DGG) provides design-build and general construction services, including demolition, new construction, renovations, and repairs, for government-owned facilities and military installations nationwide.

The Proposal Intern will support the administrative requirements at our Doyon Government Group corporate office for the Proposal Group. This position primarily provides administrative support to the Preconstruction, Proposal and Business Development management and staff. The Intern will periodically work with highly sensitive, private and confidential personal information and records. Accordingly, this position must always uphold and preserve this confidentiality and secure and safeguard all records.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Download and organize documents
  • Perform electronic filing and record keeping
  • Manage calendaring and scheduling
  • Support miscellaneous administrative projects as needed
  • Maintain and update company proposal database (Sales Force)
  • Write and edit project summaries, personnel resumes and various department documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Junior or graduate student in good standing
  • Pursuing a career in Business Administration, Communications or related field
  • Minimum 3.0 overall GPA

Preferred:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • 1 year of administrative experience

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The majority of the work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is generally sedentary, requiring routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing up to forty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary range for this position is $18.00 per hour.
