Our well-known client in the entertainment industry is looking for an Analyst to support content consumer insights across two globally known TV networks. This role is a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be hybrid in Los Angeles, CA. This person plays a key part in executing and analyzing custom primary research focused on Scripted TV, Late Night and Live Events content.
The Analyst supports projects related to content development, marketing, and strategy to champion the voice of the viewer across a show's lifecycle. Success in this role requires strong analytical rigor, clear storytelling skills, and a deep curiosity about culture, television, and how audiences engage with content.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Support the execution of custom quantitative and qualitative research, including pilot and episode testing, creative materials (trailers, key art, promos), early-stage concepts, and ongoing series maintenance. stage concepts, and ongoing series performance tracking.
-Manage day-to-day research operations with external vendors, overseeing timelines, survey and discussion guide development, questionnaire review, data quality checks, and reporting deliverables to ensure methodological rigor and on time time execution.
-Identify and interpret key trends, patterns, and drivers of viewer behavior, translating data into insights that explain not just what is happening, but why.

-Monitor and contextualize the competitive streaming landscape, tracking emerging titles, audience shifts, viewing behaviors, and broader marketplace dynamics to inform content strategy.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum 2 years of experience in consumer insights
-Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field (Business, Market Research, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, Economics, etc.), Masters degree a plus
-Must love TV and be familiar with the TV & Streaming landscape
-Strong data visualization skills, with the ability to present complex findings in clear, compelling, and accessible ways.
