Infrastructure Project Manager

Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and our staffing practice has an opening for an Infrastructure Program Manager to place at our client, a top Canadian Bank

Client: A top Canadian Bank

Terms: Contract

Location: Hybrid- 1 day a week downtown,

Pay Rate: $40-$50/Hr T4

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Utilize project management methodologies to drive projects forward, meeting or exceeding established timelines and milestones.
• Tool Proficiency:
• Experience working with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Proficient in using ServiceNow for tracking and managing project activities.
• Communication and Reporting:
• Provide regular status reporting to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clear communication.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Effectively communicate project updates, issues, and resolutions to the project team and key stakeholders.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Utilize Excel and other reporting tools to create dashboards for project performance tracking.
• Extract and analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, working on projects migrating apps from on prem to Cloud.
• Experience working with Cloud technologies, preferably Azure and AWS
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• Big emphasis on compliance and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with containers, Redhat, Openshift.
• Experience with QA processes and methodologies.
