Job Description:
Senior IT Project Manager
Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Sr IT Project Manager to place at our client, a top Canadian Bank.
Client: A top Canadian Bank
Terms: 6 months, with possibility to extend
Location: Hybrid - Downtown - 1 day a week
Pay Rate: $60-$70 (T4 employee)

About the Role
The Sr. IT Project Manager will lead large-scale, complex technology initiatives spanning cloud, data, and enterprise platforms. While some programs involve data modernization, deep data expertise is not required. Instead, the PM must have strong experience overseeing complex IT programs and be highly skilled in financial governance, stakeholder management, and navigating cross-functional tech teams.
This role requires a PM who is confident, independent, and able to make decisions quickly. The successful candidate will "own the room," protect project scope, and push back appropriately when needed.
