The Role

As a leader on the Fidelity Wealth Talent and Learning (T&L) team, you and your team will partner with targeted business groups to ensure their integrated talent agenda is aligned with their overall business strategy, increase connectivity across all Talent practices and Learning strategies, and drive implementation of Fidelity Wealth and Enterprise T&L initiatives. The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Master's degree in Industrial / Organizational Psychology, OD, Human Resources or related field preferred

  • 7-10 years of progressive Talent experience in a variety of disciplines including OD, consulting, organizational design, learning, leadership development, succession planning, performance management and change management

  • Experience working in large, complex organizations

  • Proven success in collaborative leadership and working with executive leaders and internal HR partners

  • Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize and effectively manage multiple complex projects concurrently within a fast-paced environment

  • Team formation and leadership that creates strong engagement and followership.

  • Must be self-motivated and disciplined

  • Strong understanding of talent principles, thought leadership, and best practices.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to link Talent and Learning priorities to key business initiatives

  • Demonstrated success as a change agent for organizational transformation efforts.

  • Excellent presentation, speaking and, communication (verbal and written) skills; ability to communicate and influence across the organization.

  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills evidencing the ability to think and act strategically

The Value You Deliver

  • In partnership with HR, drive implementation of all T&L COE-led initiatives

  • Increase connectivity across the Annual Cycle focused on execution and quality of manager and associate experience (i.e., goal setting, quarterly check-ins, development planning, year-end reviews, 4Growth)

  • Develop and drive talent planning efforts that build an enduring, deep and diverse pipeline of future leaders and ensure teams have the talent needed to deliver on their strategy

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Sr. Manager to deliver scalable talent solutions aligned with enterprise-wide strategies.

  • Develop strategies and consult on Talent Programs designed to accelerate early career talent development and solutions to increase mobility of exceptional talent

  • Consult and identify critical learning needs of the organization with ability to design concrete development solutions

  • Provide leader enablement for firm-wide and Fidelity Wealth-wide talent and learning initiatives

  • Act as a trusted and credible partner who anticipates needs and proactively recommends solutions

  • Consult, design and implement innovative coaching and assessment solutions aligned with the broader talent strategy to enhance team effectiveness and build a diverse pipeline of future leaders

  • Serve as internal coach to leaders, when needed, which may include 360 or other assessment debriefs (Primary instruments used include Hogan and DiSC).

  • Source external coaches as required and serve as an expert consultant on development plans.

  • Develop and use actionable metrics to provide insights that help drive business decisions
