About the Role:

In this position, you will be a part of the Immunology Research Unit on the West Coast Hub of Biogen. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a PhD or master's student to engage in high-impact research within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment at the intersection of fundamental immunology and therapeutic innovation. You will contribute to advancing our understanding of immune mechanisms and translating these insights into strategies for developing transformative therapies that address critical unmet medical needs. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain biopharma experience and deepen their scientific knowledge, develop critical thinking skills, and explore innovative approaches that drive discovery and improve patient outcomes.
What You'll Do:
As a Co-op, you will work closely with scientists in the Immunology Research Unit to advance ongoing drug discovery programs aimed at developing novel therapies for immune-mediated diseases. You will actively contribute to existing experimental workflows and play a role in developing and optimizing new assays that support ongoing programs. You will also collaborate with other scientists to learn new assays and experimental techniques and gain exposure to the drug discovery process.

The actual hourly wage offered will consider the candidate's current academic level and degree candidacy, inclusive of Associate, Bachelor's, Master's, JD, MD, PhD and MBA programs. It will comply with state or local minimum wage requirements specific to the job location.
