You'll partner closely with business and technology leaders, work across a modern full-stack, and deliver resilient, high-performance solutions in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment where your contributions directly influence engineering standards and platform evolution.
To be successful as a Senior Full Stack Developer - AVP, you should have experience with:
- Java engineering skills building efficient, resilient, high-throughput systems using object-oriented design principles
- Front-end development using Angular (2+) or React, translating business workflows into intuitive, high-performance UI components
- Designing and delivering RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services using Spring Boot
- SQL and database development across Oracle and NoSQL platforms (e.g. MongoDB)
- Modern engineering practices including Git, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Microservices and cloud-native architectures using Kubernetes in Azure and/or AWS
- Distributed messaging and caching technologies such as Solace, Kafka, Ignite, or GridGain
- Containerized development using Docker
- Experience working in investment banking environments, particularly front-office or real-time trading systems

This role is located in Whippany, New Jersey.
Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role
To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
