Digital Designer
Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Designer to join our team at L'Oral. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing visually appealing and user-friendly digital interfaces that enhance the user experience across our beauty products. This role requires a strong understanding of UX/UI best practices and a passion for beauty and design.
This is a hybrid assignment that requires going onsite to an El Segundo office 3 days a week, 2 days WFH.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and create engaging digital interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Ensure designs are responsive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine designs and improve user experience.
- Maintain a consistent brand aesthetic and adherence to design guidelines across all digital platforms.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and Figma to produce high-quality design assets and prototypes.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure design integrity during deployment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Digital Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
- Solid understanding of UX/UI best practices and principles with responsive and mobile-first design.
- Proficiency in design principles; typography, color and page layout, and a great eye for detail
- Strong QA skills to ensure high-quality design execution.
- Previous experience in the beauty industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma required.
- Familiarity with PowerPoint is a nice to have.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
