Position Summary

The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) Internship Program includes valuable leadership and professional development training, opportunities to build your network, exposure to MAC and the aviation industry, and high-quality work experiences that will help you grow your career.

  • Length: Summer -12 weeks
  • Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Start date: June 1, 2026
  • Location: MSP International Airport, Terminal 2
JOB SUMMARY
Shadow MAC Information Security staff to learn how the airport protects systems and data, then work with staff to identify and execute a project that is interesting and useful. By the end of the program, the intern will be better versed in IT operations at a major US airport and have implemented a durable improvement to its capabilities.

Position Description

JOB DUTIES

  • Learn about airport IT and information security capabilities.

  • Collaborate with airport staff to recommend a project that can be accomplished in the timeframe of the internship.

  • Plan, document, and manage an initiative following simplified project management practices.

Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program OR be a recent graduate (within 12 months from posting date) in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, software development or related degree.
