Quality and Release Management Engineer

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality and Release Management Engineer to support the rollout of a confidential device.

Responsibilities

  • Primary focus will be on identifying new bugs as opposed to reproducing known ones. We need a critical thinker who can map out potential UX scenarios
  • Flash builds onto devices
  • Write and execute test plans
  • Validate builds and ensure quality standards
  • Review telemetry data for performance and reliability
  • Manage release promotion to executive users

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with software testing, QA, and release management
  • Ability to write and execute test plans effectively
  • Familiarity with telemetry review and bug identification
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting and documentation
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Skills

  • Background in enterprise software environments- Microsoft experience highly preferred
  • Experience with Office 365 or related productivity tools
  • Experience with ADO
  • Understanding of secure authentication technologies (e.g., Windows Hello)
  • Familiarity with AI-based applications or Copilot features

Logistics

  • Temporary role requiring on-site presence two to three days per week
