STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) HAS AN OPENING!

Data QA/Test EngineerSt. Louis, MO (Hybrid schedule)
8+ Months W2 Contract role

Key Responsibilities:

Perform data validation and reconciliation for ETL pipelines built in Databricks.
Design test cases for staging, transformation, and reporting layers.
Write complex SQL/PySpark queries to validate transformations and aggregations.
Validate business rules for calculating load research factors and unbilled revenue.
Perform source-to-target mapping (STM) testing.
Check for data anomalies, duplicates, or integrity issues.
Work with data engineers to ensure pipeline accuracy and robustness.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong SQL and/or PySpark.
Understanding of ETL processes (ideally in Databricks or similar platforms).
Experience with data profiling, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
Knowledge of energy/utility domain concepts like load profiling, billing cycles, meter data, etc. (optional but valuable).
Familiarity with Delta Lake, Lakehouse, or cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
