Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Commercial Loan Closing Specialist, a W2 contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!
Candidates should be willing to work on our W2 ONLY, NO C2C
Job Title: Commercial Loan Closing Specialist
Role Type: W2 only
Duration: 24 months
Location: Charlotte, NC
In office: Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday
Job Summary:
Participate in low- to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements within Commercial Loan Closing. Review and analyze basic or tactical Commercial Loan Closing assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to low-to-medium risk deliverables. Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Provide information to client personnel in Commercial Loan Closing.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
This contractor will be supporting day-to-day operations for Lending fulfillment as part of the document preparation team. This team is responsible for creating documentation which secures the lien that the bank is taking on the property. This opening is due to an update in location strategy. DUTIES This Team will be working closely with front office bankers to document commercial real estate and non-real estate doc packages. They will be responsible for partnering with the front office to collect information needed to complete due diligence. This includes insurance, flood, environmental, title work, appraisals, etc

Preferred prior commercial lending documentation experience.
Strong communication skills will work with front office & portfolio teams

Required Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: 2+ years of Commercial Loan Closing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Commercial Loan Documentation (able to identify deeds of trust, Titles, appraisals, Business lending confirmation letters, and state-specific documents) -
- Advanced Microsoft Word Experience, Must be able to create and work with existing templates, encrypting documents, sending encrypted items
- Loan servicing experience will NOT work for this role-experience with First Mortgage loan documentation experience has strong transferable skills
