Job Title: Information Security Engineer - IAM / Credential Management

Location: Charlotte, NC (On-Site)
Contract Length: 12 Months
Pay: $70/hr - W2 ONLY, NO C2C


Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineer with deep expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Credential Management, and Security Architecture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tools such as CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, and SailPoint, and a strong background in designing and implementing secure, scalable integrations within enterprise environments.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent through a combination of work experience, military background, training, or education.
  • 5+ years of experience in CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, Identity Governance, MFA, and Virtual Directory tools and technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT applications and systems support.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting SDLC, DevSecOps, and Agile methodologies, including experience with development and/or automation tools.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with IAM technologies and frameworks.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and integrating with various credential vaulting, identity governance, and reporting/analytics tools.
  • 5+ years of experience developing secure API-based integrations between IAM systems and other enterprise platforms.
  • 5+ years of architectural design and planning experience related to security solutions.
  • Experience with at least one of the following tools: CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, SailPoint.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain IAM and credential management solutions to support enterprise security objectives.
  • Architect secure, scalable integrations across multiple platforms and systems using API-based approaches.
  • Collaborate with security architects, infrastructure engineers, and development teams to ensure IAM solutions align with broader security and business strategies.
  • Lead security tool evaluations and contribute to the enhancement of access control policies and identity governance frameworks.
  • Support DevSecOps pipelines by integrating identity and access security controls.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal security requirements through effective design and implementation of identity security practices.

Preferred Attributes:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently in complex technical environments.
  • Industry certifications in IAM or security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CyberArk Certified Delivery Engineer, SailPoint IdentityNow Engineer) are a plus.
