Job Description:
- In this position as a Trade Support Analyst within Trade Support, you will be expected to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a focus on controlling the significant financial risk inherent in complex security transactions for global markets.
- A core part of this role involves functioning as liaison between equity and fixed income securities traders, brokers and custodian banks to ensure the full trade life cycle, from trade confirmation to trade settlement, is completed.
- Addressing and resolving inquiries from the investment teams, traders, client service teams, accounting, brokers, custodians and other third parties.
- Another key responsibility of this position will require strong project management and excel skills (e.g., vlookups, managing large data sets) to help track existing Trade Support workflows.
- Beyond tracking, the individual is expected to think strategically and drive transformation by identifying inefficiencies, recommending improvements, and implementing streamlined processes.
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years in the industry
- Ability to learn and assimilate information quickly from multiple people and sources, especially in fast-paced environments
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills to manage competing demands efficiently
- Strong project management and Excel skills, with the agility to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines
