Key Responsibilities:
- Execute impactful assignments in data governance, engineering, and business intelligence, ensuring data quality and delivering actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand complex requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure using modern technologies and best practices.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop insightful visualizations using Tableau and Power BI, following best practices and aligning with enterprise branding standards.
- Participate in structured career development, including mentoring, coaching, and hands-on training to advance within data and analytics domain.
- Adhere to risk and compliance standards, ensuring all activities are performed within regulatory and operational guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree; OR
- 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Experience:
- Honorably discharged or currently serving military veteran (reserve or national guard included)
- One of the following:
- 4+ years in data & analytics, information management, data engineering, or software development implementing data solutions
- 8+ years of military experience in data collection, organization, and reporting
- Advanced Degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative field + 2 years in predictive analytics or data analysis
Technical Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of data management practices and related tools
- Experience using SQL, Excel, and platforms such as Snowflake, Hadoop, Netezza, NoSQL, Business Objects
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to visualize data effectively and convey insights to both technical and business audiences
- Demonstrated collaboration and relationship-building across all organizational levels
