The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. Within Wells Fargo Compliance, the Enterprise Testing group is responsible for establishing and maintaining a consolidated Enterprise Testing program at the corporate level. Enterprise Testing is responsible for developing a common methodology and standards, providing governance and oversight, executing testing; and conducting horizontal reviews. Testing and validation teams are responsible for implementing the Enterprise Testing methodology and standards, and executing group- specific testing. The Enterprise Functions Testing and Validation (EF T&V) team within Enterprise Testing is responsible for planning and executing control testing and issue validation in accordance with Operational Risk and Compliance Testing and Validation Standards and Procedures. We are seeking two candidates to lead QC Consultants who are responsible for In-line Quality Control (QC) activities for Enterprise Functions T&V. One candidate will lead QC for the Information Protection Technology & Data (IPTD) T&V Team. The other candidate will lead QC for all other EF T&V testing and validation work. Both roles will report to the EF T&V Governance & Oversight Manager. The successful candidate will focus on leading a team of consultants responsible for the execution of QC review activities in order to assess adherence to standards and requirements as communicated in the Enterprise Testing Operating Procedures and EF T&V business specific program documentation. This individual will be responsible for supporting QC Consultants in providing credible challenge to testing and validation team members. This individual will also have responsibility to engage, support, and report information to leadership and will maintain and engage with a broad range of professional relationships and key contacts across the enterprise. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: • Lead a team in executing quality control on control testing, issue validation, and targeted review/engagement activities specifically in the Information Protection Technology and Data space. • Oversight of five or more QC Consultants who conduct In-line QC on testing and validation review activities. • Support the annual test plan and lead quality control activities to be completed within appropriate time frames and in accordance with established processes and procedures including the Operational Risk and Compliance Testing and Validation Standards and Procedures • Effectively communicate the quality control testing process, status, and results to T&V partners • Provide credible challenge and recommendations based on quality control results and trends • Support G&O/QC Leadership to facilitate an efficient and valued control testing review process • Assist with program development, planning, and special initiatives • Maintain authoritative knowledge a detailed understanding of the Enterprise Testing Operating Procedures • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks • Support and develop team member's knowledge and understanding of compliance review activities • Exercise effective communications and promote positive client relations with business line team members and management • Maintain knowledge and understanding of the Corporate Regulatory Compliance Policy and Procedures and Operational Risk and Compliance Testing and Validation Standards As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 8+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 4+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both 3+ years of management experience Desired Qualifications Advanced Microsoft Office skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities A BS/BA degree or higher Other Desired Qualifications • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding the financial services industry including Information Security, Technology and Data • Experience with the risk reporting tools to include, but not limited to: SHRP, SHRP Reporting, etc • Experience evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls; and identifying issues resulting from internal and/or external compliance examinations. • In-depth understanding of Wells Fargo risk management policies and programs • Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment • Experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk and Testing • Management or supervisory experience leading direct reports For Testing and Validation Positions Only: One or more of the following certifications is desired: • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) • Certified Financial Crimes Specialist (CFCS) • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) • Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP) • Certified Risk Professional Program (CRP) For Testing and Validation Positions Only Salary Information The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
