An action for children is always a noble act. In their Facebook post, the Illinois Action for Children Organization quoted the award-winning broadcast journalist and talk show host, Tamron Hall's line: “The reality is you don’t get to pick your parents and you don’t get to pick your ZIP code...and that ZIP code determines so much about your life.” Children do not deserve to be underprivileged just because of the location where they are born into. It is for this very noble reason that Illinois Action for Children (IAFC) makes an impact in the lives of children and families living in ZIP codes with the least number of resources in Cook County and beyond. IAFC gives them the chance to positively change the trajectory of their lives.
