GENERAL DESCRIPTION  Will augment Prime Contractor as an aircraft maintenance resource at US Army sites to ensure aircraft maintenance tasks are performed as required for the LUH-72 aircraft. This position is critical to the operational readiness of the aircraft and is vital to ensure aircraft are available for daily missions. Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair, and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems. DUTIES Maintains, repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.
