General Description Tyonek is performing operations and sustainment support for the Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations office. Tyonek is seeking an Aerostat Operator Level I. The successful candidate will have experience supporting aerostat flight operations on platforms similar in size to the TARS aerostats. Duties Support aerostat pre-launch, launch, ascent, transition, station keeping, and recovery. Perform recurring equipment maintenance on aerostat and radar systems. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. Read and understand schematics, technical drawings, and engineering data and reports. Calibrate equipment. Support the site operations in the areas such as security, landscaping and logistics. Performs a variety of administrative and technical operator functions.
