The Therapist designs and supervises a safe environment and positive residential treatment program. Establishes and maintains a positive, strengths-based, developmentally appropriate therapeutic milieu that is in keeping with the values and clinical treatment philosophy of the Agency. Actively participates in ongoing quality improvement activities of Legacy Treatment Services including but not limited to serving as a member of a quality improvement team, Consumer input, incident/accident and Consumer grievance review, peer record review and Program evaluation/quality improvement projects. Will fill-in for areas on a day to day need after training completed in all areas. May operate equipment normally associated with custodial, office, and grounds maintenance to include: vacuums, buffers, power washers, lawn mowers, tractors, various maintenance tools, computers, etc. May insure all chemicals and cleaning agents are handled, mixed and stored complying with OSHA, NFPA, and “Right to Know” regulations.
