The In Community Therapist will assess need for treatment, document and deliver clinical evidenced- based behavioral health services to youth and their families in a community-based setting. Design and provide clinical interventions, teach staff and actively participate on the treatment team to enable youth to reach their highest levels of independence in the community. Provides transportation to youth and supervision in the office and in the community. Knowledge about community resources and services are required. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the consumers served and demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the consumer population served.
