General Description Leads production efforts in the manufacturing of electro-mechanical assemblies as an individual contributor. These assemblies involve various electronic assembly operations to include but not limited to SMT soldering and repairs, through-hole soldering and repairs, optical fiber, fiber cables, hybrid wiring harness assemblies, wire termination, cable harness assembly, cable harness integration into chassis and modules. GENERAL DESCRIPTION Candidate will produce parts using standard machining processes. DUTIES Calculate dimensions and tolerances and have significant knowledge of mathematics and precision measurement instruments. Fabricate assemblies or subassemblies using machine tools such as saws, lathes, and milling machines. Makes setup decision relative to part, product and material being used. Measure and examine completed products to ensure they meet drawing and customer requirements. Make adjustments and setup changes of a minor nature on basic machine tools and equipment. Align and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments and materials onto machines. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper machine performance. GENERAL DESCRIPTION Assemble, test, and rework cables, harnesses, mechanical and electromechanical products. DUTIES Assemble products according to routers, drawings, and all other applicable documentation Operate automatic stripping, crimping, wire cutting, and basic test equipment Maintain a clean and safe working environment Work together cohesively with co-workers to ensure a constructive teaming environment Maintain acceptable test pass rates and quality acceptance rates. Use manual hand tools for assembly and repetitive operation Checks stock bins for adequate supplies of subassemblies, parts, and fasteners for the particular run. Checks for designated carton pack.
