The Children's Intervention Specialist intervenes in crisis situations through mobile outreach response. Interviews clients, performs assessment and crisis interventions, creates individual crisis plans and provides case management by making linkage and referrals. Reaches out to post intervention clients to perform follow-up. Responds to crisis outreach immediately and is on-site of the crisis within one hour of receiving crisis outreach call. On-call as needed. Answers 24-hour hot-line, as scheduled. Works in a team approach.
