Summary Delta Star Inc. is seeking a driven and influential Corporate Quality Systems Manager to lead, maintain, and continuously improve our Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with business objectives and ISO 9001:2015 requirements. This role serves as a key strategic quality leader, driving compliance, audit readiness, continuous improvement, and system-based problem solving across the organization. What You’ll Do As the Corporate Quality Systems Manager, you will provide leadership for Delta Star’s Quality Management System, internal and external audit programs, and corporate quality improvement initiatives. You’ll work across multiple locations and functions to ensure quality standards are consistently applied, performance is measured effectively, and improvement opportunities are identified and implemented throughout the organization.
A Day in the Life Your day may include facilitating a cross-functional quality improvement initiative, preparing for an external registrar audit, analyzing quality performance trends, or collaborating with site quality leaders on process audits. You’ll coach teams through root-cause analysis and corrective actions, develop management review reports, train auditors, and ensure the QMS remains effective, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals. Through influence and leadership, you’ll drive sustainable improvements across the business.
Specific Duties - Lead corporate QMS activities, including system updates, corrective actions, preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the organization’s primary contact for registrar audits and support customer audit activities.
- Develop and execute the corporate internal audit strategy.
- Recruit, train, and mentor internal auditors.
- Lead internal systems and process audits, including planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate process audits across manufacturing locations in partnership with site quality leadership.
- Drive collaboration among departments to develop, standardize, and improve QMS documentation and processes.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on quality performance metrics and improvement initiatives.
- Develop management review reporting packages and executive presentations.
- Support supplier qualification and supplier quality activities.
- Implement process performance metrics and reporting systems.
- Use data and trend analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and prioritize organizational initiatives.
- Support onboarding and training programs related to quality systems and QMS requirements.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry standards, auditing practices, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Represent Delta Star’s quality organization during customer visits, supplier engagements, and industry events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a highly motivated quality leader who combines technical expertise, strong business acumen, and exceptional facilitation skills. The ideal candidate is capable of leading change, influencing stakeholders without direct authority, and implementing practical system improvements that drive measurable business results.
Position Requirements - Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline; Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality systems, manufacturing, auditing, supplier quality, or continuous improvement.
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience leading or participating in internal audits and process audits.
- Experience with supplier quality management, statistical analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience with Control Plans, FMEA, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
Skills & Competencies - Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Proven ability to lead change and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze technical issues and guide teams toward effective solutions.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
- Familiarity with quality measurement and testing equipment used in manufacturing environments.
Travel Requirements - Travel as required to customer locations, supplier facilities, and Delta Star manufacturing sites, including San Carlos, California and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec.
- Occasional travel to industry events, training programs, and quality-related conferences.
