Weekly Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

The Senior Business Systems Analyst (Sr. BSA) partners with Wholesale Banking stakeholders and IT to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. This associate leads discovery, translates business needs into clear requirements and user stories, shapes solution design with architects and developers, and drives testing, release, and adoption. The Sr. BSA balances speed with risk and compliance, ensuring solutions improve client experience and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

  • Discovery and analysis: Lead workshops with business and product owners; document current/future-state process maps; translate needs into user stories with acceptance criteria and traceability.
  • Solution design and configuration oversight: Collaborate with architects and developers; recommend declarative vs. programmatic approaches; guide configuration for workflows, approvals, roles/permissions, document generation, covenants, and product/stage setup.
  • Backlog and delivery: Own/prioritize the backlog; plan sprints; manage dependencies; maintain clear, testable requirements; partner with product owners on value realization.
  • Testing and quality: Define test strategies; author test cases; coordinate SIT/UAT; manage defect triage and regression; validate data and access controls.
  • Data and integration: Partner on API/middleware designs) to connect nCino/Salesforce with core banking.
  • Governance and compliance: Ensure solutions meet privacy, security, and audit requirements, access controls, segregation of duties); adhere to SDLC and change management/CAB processes.
  • Environment and release management: Coordinate sandbox strategy, packaging, and production deployments with detailed runbook and implementation plans; support post-release stabilization.
  • Change management and adoption: Produce high-quality documentation; enable training; champion process improvements; measure outcomes.
  • Operations support: Participate in incident/problem management; perform root-cause analysis; recommend continuous improvements.

Required qualifications:

  • nCino: 3–5+ years hands-on configuration with Commercial Lending (loan origination, documentation, collateral, covenants, approvals) and Treasury Onboarding; strong understanding of client onboarding workflows.
  • Salesforce: 5–7+ years with the Salesforce platform, including declarative configuration (Flows, validation rules, record types, page layouts), security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing), data model, and SOQL familiarity; ability to collaborate effectively with Apex/integration developers.
  • Commercial banking: 5+ years working in commercial banking processes, treasury services onboarding, and related operational controls.
  • Requirements and agile delivery: Proven track record leading discovery sessions and solutioning; authoring user stories and acceptance criteria; backlog management; strong proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
  • Testing and quality: Experience defining test plans, coordinating UAT, and managing defects and regression; data validation and reconciliation skills.
  • Communication and collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate between business and technical teams; influence stakeholders and drive decisions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related field; equivalent experience considered.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder. nCino product certifications, Agile ScrumMaster.
  • Integration and DevOps: Experience with APIs/middleware, ETL tools, DevOps pipelines, release tooling, Bit Bucket.
  • Reporting and analytics: Familiarity with Power BI, nCino & Salesforce reporting and dashboards.
