Summary of Position: Responsible for ensuring all goals and objectives of the Maintenance Department are achieved in a timely, cost-effective and quality-oriented manner. Must be adept at managing budgets, leading and developing maintenance staff into a strong performing team and possess the ability to complete a variety of maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities: • Ensure that all maintenance team members are properly qualified and trained for their various assignments
• Detect needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment by following established inspection procedures
• Must be capable of "hands on repairs" in most maintenance disciplines and be available to assist other maintenance staff with related tasks such as general painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, concrete, heating, welding, roofing and other related jobs including landscaping and care and maintenance of all restroom facilities.
• Perform assigned maintenance and mechanical duties for buildings and associated facilities, furnishings and equipment
Requirements - Possess upbeat and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be organized and able to adhere to schedules.
- Must represent the Company and Park in a professional manner by wearing a company uniform, name badge, etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 25-30 pounds occasionally.
- Understand basic math.
- Must be able to bend, twist, squat and stand on feet for up to 8-10 hours per day.
Education and Experience Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum one-two (1-2) years customer service experience
