Assistant Video Production Specialist (Primarily Remote, but prioritizing candidates who are local to the Minneapolis Metro)
Position Overview
The Assistant Video Producer will support the production team in creating high-quality video content. This role involves assisting with planning, shooting, and editing, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet expected quality standards. We are looking for someone with 2+ years of experience producing videos and are prioritizing candidates in the Twin Cities. Candidate must be proficient with Premiere Pro and After Effects and will assist on smaller-scale projects assigned by a Video Production Specialist.
This contract is estimated to begin on Monday, February 16th, 2026, through May 8th, 2026. It will be up to 12 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and coordination of video shoots
- May assist in writing a script, creating graphics, selecting visual aids, music and sound effects.
- Help operate video cameras and other equipment during shoots
- Edit video footage using Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Collaborate with team members on creative concepts and project goals
- Manage project timelines using monday.com
- Upload and manage video content on Vimeo
- Ensure all video content meets branding and quality standards
Qualifications
- Proficiency in video editing software, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com
- Experience with video hosting platforms, preferably Vimeo
- Strong understanding of video production processes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment. Additionally, drug products may be present in the workplace.
