Our client, a leader in the CPG pet nutrition space, is looking for a Media Analytics Manager to join their team for a parental leave coverage starting in late February/early March through at least July.
Ideally you are local to the Kansas City, KS market and available to go onsite for meetings as needed. If not, you must be available to work CT standard hours on a daily basis. The role is 40 hours per week.
The Media Analytics Manager will play critical role in driving data-driven insights and optimizing media strategies across multiple channels. This position is responsible for working with agency partners to measure the impact of media spend across retailers and media campaigns. You'll analyze campaign performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to improve ROI and achieve client objectives. You must have a strong understanding of campaign measurement, understanding ROI, cost of acquisition, lifetime value, and cost per asset.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, analyze marketing campaigns on TV, programmatic and social platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Google, Bing and programmatic DSPs. Use customer centric data analysis to measure performance, test hypotheses, develop insights and make recommendations that drive the highest incremental gains. Develop test plans to measure performance and inform media strategies that drive the highest incremental gains.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on analyzing media effectiveness and efficiency, translating and leveraging industry trends & tools, best practices, and emerging technologies across, identity, cloud, ad operations, data clean rooms, , media planning, buying, selling, measurement, programmatic, TV/CTV and more.
- Work with Media Strategists to ensure client campaigns goals/objectives are achieved. Ownership of weekly, and monthly reports and optimization recommendations across stakeholders. Maintain understanding of fundamental digital marketing metrics and how they interact and influence one another.
- Successfully work across ad platforms and leverage measurement tools to optimize media campaigns esp translating business question to specific learning agenda and test
- Collaborate with technical resources to optimize and scale Publisher platforms and integrations to reduce friction and increase efficiencies
- Effectively partner and influence across analytics teams, media team, and business functions to accomplish goals. Prepare and present quantitative analyses to influence peers as well as C-level leadership.
- Deep experience facilitating relationships with agencies, retailers, and stakeholders as well as building partnerships with internal teams
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in media buying / selling and media analytics or a related role in a CPG company or agency side
- Highly communicative and client facing - Strong understanding of the media retail landscape
- Strong understanding of DSPs, SSPs, and the programmatic advertising ecosystem.
- Familiarity with media tools such as the Trade Desk, Amazon, GS360, etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelors degree or higher
