Our client is looking for a Creative Director with beauty experience to join their team.
This is a hybrid role based onsite near Westport, CT, three days per week. Your portfolio should include social samples, video work, packaging design, as well as POS and display projects
Responsibilities:
-Oversee all Creative direction and development across all channels
-Build out marketing objectives into clear creative strategies
-Manage the creative process from concept to completion
-Review and interpret creative briefs and guide the creative work
-Effectively communicate creative and brand direction
-Responsible for the creative studio and managing outside creative agencies as needed
-Present creative concepts in persuasive, articulate and compelling ways
-Apply consumer insights to communications
-Partner with Marketing, Media, eCommerce, Resellers to develop effective reactive across all channels
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead creative briefing sessions cross-departmentally to clarify business needs and key deliverables
-Represent key creative work and concepts internally to leadership and assume responsibility for the delivery of high performing, brand aligned communication and experiences
-Oversee creative budgets, timeline and creative staff (3 direct reports)
-Manage, motivate, and set direction for the internal creative team, providing guidance, clear direction, problem solving and people management
-Understand goals, business requirements, constraints and be able to work within project budget and parameters
-Develop an understanding of customer experience and stay on top of current trends
Skills and Knowledge:
-Knowledge of the business side of design
-7+ years in a creative role with solid management experience
-Stellar leadership and project management skills
-Experience with interacting with Executive Leadership
- Strong understanding of industry trends and creative tools
-An expert ability to think strategically and execute tactically
-An intimate understanding of design, copy, and web best practices/guidelines
-Excellent problem solving skills
