Located between the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway in Fort Lauderdale, the property is an oceanside escape! Our full-service restaurant sits among a one-of-a-kind outdoor garden and provides the perfect spot to enjoy a bite to eat, craft beer or tropical drink.Pay based on experience ($17-$19) Position Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers
- Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils
- Execute opening and closing procedures
- Complete all required food and safety logs
Position Requirements: - Knowledge of food preparation and storage, sanitation requirements and commercial kitchen equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment and in close proximity to other people
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting will be required
Knowledge and Experience: - Experience: Restaurant experience preferred
