Required Qualifications:
- 5-6 years of Java programming
- Capital Markets experience preferred
- Advanced Java, proficiency in SQL, Python, Messaging systems, REST, Grid Computing, Distributed computing, GridGain
Job Description:
- Working towards modernizing the risk applications in anticipation of increased volume post-asset cap.
- Current platforms may not be as scalable as they need to be if asset cap were removed and trading increased 3 or 4 times over.
- Converging applications into the Valuation Adjustment Target Operating Platform (XVA TOP).
- Build on Java and Power BI stacks. Will be a mix of legacy BAU support and new platform development.
- Will be on a group team of about 40 engineers, 20 onshore and 20 offshore.
- Work in 2 week sprints with daily scrum meetings involving sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Prior Agile experience is not important, preferably will have a capital markets background.
