The Public Lighting Authority of Detroit

Our mission is to improve, modernize and maintain the street lighting system in Detroit.

The Public Lighting Authority currently maintains more than 48,000 new LED street lights, illuminating neighborhoods across Detroit.

As the new lights are installed, it’s our goal is to repair or replace any damaged pole or light within five days of it being reported.
