Parsec, Inc. a leader in Intermodal operations is looking for experienced Trailer/Container/Chassis Mechanics to fill full time positions in their Atlanta, GA facility.  Should be able to work independently to perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment. Must maintain customer equipment in accordance with the program and/or with the manufacturers recommended maintenance procedures in a safe efficient manner.
 
Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine scheduled inspections and perform routine maintenance functions on each piece of equipment assigned. Maintain safe working habits as a primary consideration at all times. Use time wisely so that both customer and employer are best served.
• Repair air systems, electrical systems and tires.
• Experience with welding and use of a torch preferred.

 
 
Requirements:

• Must have own tools
• Must have a valid Driver’s license
• Candidates must successfully pass pre-employment e-railsafe background check and drug test.
