Part Time Pro Shop Assistant Manager (Okeechobee)
Our fusion of Recreational Shooting Facility meets Crystal Ballroom and High Noon Café makes the OK Corral Gun Club of Okeechobee south central Florida's most unique and exciting family-oriented sportsman's playground. Open 7 days a week to the public for shooting sporting clays, pistol, rifle, and cowboy action combined with exceptional daily lunch offerings and sophisticated events of all sizes including: shooting tournaments, weddings, fundraisers, holiday parties, corporate gatherings and more.
We are looking for a part time Guest Relations and Marketing Assistant to join our team.
Job Summary: Guest Relations and Marketing Assistant is responsible for the safety of all OK Corral Gun Club Customers. Has extensive knowledge about the operation of firearms of all types. Retail Experience, Inventory Tracking, Membership Tracking, Cash Handling A Must. Establishes and promotes special recreational activities, along with monthly Tournaments held at the Club. Must also be able to deal with the public in a professional manner. Proficient in, Microsoft office, and Excel along with POS Systems.
MUST PASS CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK.
Immediate Supervisor: Club Manager or Guest Relations Manager
Position's Essential Functions:
1. MUST be Available to work a COMBINATION OF WEEKDAYS/WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS(Thursday- Sunday Schedule)
2. Promote and smoothly execute instructional programs and shooting events
3. Sell Memberships and Retail inventory
4. Keep center sanitary and neat. Empty trash can into dumpster at close of business each day.
5. Maintain productive relationships with established customers
6. Attend training as required by General Manager
7. Work as a team player with all staff
8. Communicate in a professional and courteous manner with everyone
9. Maintain a well groomed, professional appearance at all times
10. Adhere to OKCGC policies at all times
11.RETAIL EXPERIENCE A MUST!
Qualifications
18 years or older
High School Diploma or equivalent. Highly self motivated/able to work without direction. Naturally friendly and positive. Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities. Excellent communication skills. Ability to carry out directives efficiently. Proficient with handguns and rifles. Desire to learn new skills and accept responsibility.
