Tire Centers, LLC is one of the country’s leading tire service networks.  We specialize in commercial truck tire sales and service solutions, the manufacture of custom-mold and pre-mold truck retreads to the quality and process standards established by Michelin Retread Technologies, and the distribution of passenger and light truck tires to independent tire retailers.

Our Mechanics serve as a point of contact between the company and our customers and are responsible for providing excellent customer service.
 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and meet or exceed the requirements listed below. These requirements are not all-inclusive but are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required:
 
·         Diagnoses and repairs to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
·         Perform DOT/State Inspections & any functions needed to ensure the customer can pass the DOT/State inspection. (Exceptions would include Glass or Body work)
·         Greases, oils, and lubricates components during preventive maintenance service. Performs adjustments to various systems during preventive maintenance service.
·         Inspects cars /trucks and/or equipment, for condition, operation, parts and fluid levels. Identifies and designates problems. Checks safety equipment on truck and/or equipment.
·         Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.
·         Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
·         Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair issues as they are needed for shop and company vehicles.
·         Completes required paperwork, documents parts and material usage and accounts for applied times (i.e. work order times versus time card times.)
·         Maintains organized and neat bay/bays.
·         Drives vehicles in and out of repair area and test drive as needed.
·         Requires heavy lifting up to 100lbs
·         Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
·         Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
