We are looking for a Warehouse Operator to lead our nation-wide delivery warehouse operations in San Francisco (co-located in Downtown, SF with the rest of the team!). Our warehouse team is responsible for the final touches and important processes that ensure our Memebox fans get exactly what they want (and more!) each and every time. You’re a highly analytical individual who is not afraid to get your hands dirty! You are extremely scrappy and want to learn what it is like to start a business from the ground up. You will get a running approach to warehouse operations and customer experience. The ideal candidate is hands-on, entrepreneurial and lives in SF already.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Intaking, quality checking, processing, and binning each and every item that enters the warehouse to ensure amazing quality, a great work environment and client satisfaction.
- Picking, quality checking, packing, and shipping all of items sent to our customers across the country and taking ownership of the final touches on their purchase experience.
- Assist in organizing and processing return orders for warehouse shipments, ensuring the quality and accuracy that lead to a great customer experience.
- Support your team and co-workers with enthusiasm and positivity
- Arrive on-time and complete daily tasks (morning people preferred!)
- Understand and deliver on required quality of work
- Manage time wisely and understand daily processes
- Must be able to communicate effectively with other team leads, reports, and co-workers.
- Additional tasks requested from time-to-time by team
REQUIREMENTS
- BA/BS degree (or equivalent work experience!)
- Very strong attention to detail.
- Desire to get their hands dirty helping a small start-up grow to be very big!
- Entrepreneurial attitude: you'll work alone every shift so you must be autonomous, self-managed and resourceful
- Incredibly organized/borderline OCD (your resume should be free of grammar and spelling errors!)
- Live in Bay Area and can commute to San Francisco during the week
- Demonstrated ability to uphold standards for department cleanliness
- Possesses the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day.
