Cumberland Packing Corp., one of two companies that operate under the umbrella of our parent corporation, Cumberland Worldwide Holdings.  Cumberland Packing Corp. is a family-owned and operated food products manufacturer based in Brooklyn, New York, with annual sales of approximately $200 million.  For over 50 years we have been mixing, blending, packaging, and distributing natural and artificial dietary products.  Our leading product is Sweet ‘n Low, a highly popular saccharine-based dietary sweetener that is recognized world-wide.  We also produce a full line of “in-the-raw” natural products, including Sugar In The Raw, Stevia In The Raw, Monk Fruit In The Raw, Sugar In The Raw Organic White, and Agave In The Raw Liquid.  Additionally we produce an aspartame-based dietary sweetener, NatraTaste Blue, a sucralose-based dietary sweetener, NatraTaste Gold, and a sodium-free salt substitute, NuSalt.  Throughout its history the company has been located at 2 Cumberland Street in Brooklyn, where it maintains one of its three manufacturing plants and our primary Distribution Center.  2 Cumberland Street is just outside of the Brooklyn Navy Yard, where the company maintains its two other manufacturing plants and our primary warehouse. We also maintain an association with a network of brokers, co-packers, and public warehouses that enables us to market and distribute our products nationally and internationally.  The company has over 420 employees, approximately 305 of which are involved in line operations and are members of the United Food and Commercial Workers union, Local 2013.  The remaining 115 employees are involved in the company’s administration and management.  Our sister company, Butter Buds Inc., which is located in Racine, Wisconsin, is the manufacturer of a natural, low-fat butter replacement, Butter Buds, and many other dietary dairy ingredients.  They employ a total of about 80 people in a totally non-union environment.
