La Verne Collection Agency seeks a professional full-time Debt Collector. This is not a customer service position.  This is a unique firm that focuses primarily in the area of Subprime Collections. 

REQUIREMENTS:
*Must have a good work ethic.
*Collections or collection agency experience is required.
*Must have excellent communication and negotiating skills.
*Must be computer literate, i.e., word, excel.
*Must be able to obtain and exceed set monthly collection goals.
*Must possess time management skills.
*Must be able to manage accounts assigned to you, and forward delinquent accounts to the litigation department.
*Must possess good research skills to skip trace.
*Must have ability to read credit reports and have the ability to assess the best approach to pursue accounts.
*Must possess the ability to make reasonable judgment calls regarding payments.
*Knowledge and an understanding of the FDCPA required.

*Spanish speaking a plus.
