Decker and Company is a leading Asian Emerging and Frontier markets broker, based in Menlo Park. Mark Decker, a 25 year veteran of Asian financial markets, founded Decker and Co to provide investors in the US with access to growth opportunities across emerging Asia through his network of 13 local broker affiliates.
We are seeking 2-3 paid internships to join our team in the Menlo Park office to help with the following:
- ​We arrange roadshows for Asian company managements who are visiting the US, as well as for US investors visiting Asia. The intern would assist in roadshow scheduling and logistics.
- Some basic packaging of research ideas and sourcing information for inclusion in our monthly newsletter
- Helping manage and organize our cloud and overall file storage​
- Support on other initiatives, including in Asia crowdfunding and portfolio management
This position could evolve into full-time employment. It will be a great opportunity for someone to:
- ​Gain exposure to the global securities industry
- Increase their knowledge of global financial markets and specifically the fast growing economies of emerging and frontier Asia
- Gain understanding of international sales and trading
These positions report directly to myself, the COO of Decker Co.​ As I said, we value students from SJSU and the Social Studies disciplines who exhibit good communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
