Through the development of our relationship under the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Mentor Protégé Program, US&S, Inc. and E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. have become successful at delivering safe, efficient, low cost and reliable services to our customers as a prime-sub team. The US&S and E2 Mentor Protégé Agreement (MPA) was approved in September 2011. US&S and E2 have also established a Joint Venture (JV) under the terms of our SBA-approved MPA in order to provide our customers with the full breadth and depth of our capabilities via a single, seamless entity. In addition to the organizational efficiency and cost-cutting benefits realized, our JV arrangement allows our customers to receive the benefit of 100% small business credit for 8(a), minority, SDVOSB, and SDB classifications, while combining the full qualifications and past performances of both companies into an integrated Team.
