Canaan Health Care, Inc. (dba Canaan Home Care) is a southern California, mission based company, focused on helping elderly and / or disabled individuals.  We maintain the highest possible standards when it comes to home care.  Our caregivers are rigorously screened, both before and after hiring.  They are our employees (W2), not independent contractors.  All of our caregivers are fully licensed and bonded and are covered by our liability and workers compensation insurance policies.  Our caregivers receive continuing education, are continually supervised, and exceed all state requirements.  On average, less than 5% of all applicants meet our standards and become employees.  We believe in more than just providing the best-qualified caregivers at an affordable cost.  That’s why we created the Canaan Cares Foundation, a non-profit, 501(c)(3), which helps fund research and care options for elderly and disabled individuals.  A portion of every dollar we make goes to the Canaan Cares Foundation.
