A rapidly growing security services provider is seeking a Client Relations Manager to assist with company expansion in the DC/MD/VA area.  This position will serve a key role in increasing our regional business operations within a thriving market.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: CLIENT RELATIONS MANAGER
Reports to:  Chief Executive Officer
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4-year college Degree in Management, Marketing or business-related field (Preferred, not mandatory)
• Two (2) years’ experience in verifiable outside sales, client relations and/or business development (Preferred, not mandatory)
• Experience performing capture management, technical writing and proposal management functions for business development opportunities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to function as a single-person Client Relations Department, with minimal supervision and/or support
• Ability to learn responsibilities and accept constructive criticism to improve performance
• Ability to work flexible schedule with extended hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays as required for satisfying business development goals.
• Ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines and maintain superior organizational skills
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite to include MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
• Position requires a personable individual who is capable of professionally relating to individuals in mid-level to senior-level management positions.
• Must possess reliable transportation to commute to main office, perform field work and ad-hoc regional job-related travel, if deemed necessary
• Ability and willingness to attend vendor outreach, professional networking, industry association and/or community events to represent organization

SPECIAL PREFERENCE CONSIDERATION:
• Candidates with U.S. military background will be given special preference

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Establish, develop and foster quality business relationships with prospective procurers of security and security-related services within the DC/MD/VA area to generate new business partnerships and clients as follows:

• Attend periodic vendor outreach events, trade shows and annual OSDBU conference
• Manage Constant contacts program through periodic distribution of advertising leads
• Place cold calls to business leads and prospects
• Develop and maintain business pipeline of marketing efforts to active business leads
• Registration and updates into Vendor databases for Prime Contractors and/or Client databases
• Perform continuous follow up with business prospects via phone calls and/or emails to potential clients
• Attend Webinars to remain proficient on marketing skills, new procedures, etc.
• Maintain Master Vendor Registration Profile sheet for Vendor database registrations
• Monitor BD Program and CRM portals including GovWin, Salesforce, Zoho CRM
• Monitor Blue Book program including leads, website rankings, etc.
• Identify target agencies and monitor 24-month Procurement Forecasts
• Coordinate routine updates and revisions to company website
• Maintain Social media portals including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube
• Generate weekly report of client relations and business development activities

Perform other related duties and collateral responsibilities as assigned or required.

Compensation / Benefits
• Base Salary, $40,000 annual equivalent
• Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
o Note: Occasional evenings, weekends and holidays, as required
