(Delta Tech) has served the industrial market since 1970 safely delivering Chemical Cleaning, Process Decontamination and Oil Flushing Services to a wide range of industries including Oil Refining, Chemical & Petrochemical, Power, Pulp & Paper, Food & Beverage and Technology. Services provided include TURNKEY Chemical Cleaning using reactive chemistry to clean, degrease, descale, neutralize and passivate, TURNKEY Process Decontamination by both Steam Chemical Vapor Phase & Circulation including temporary drain & pumping systems, exchangers & relief drums. To complement our chemical cleaning and decontamination services, we also offer Oil Flushing & Polishing services for lube, seal and hydraulic oil systems, utilizing modular oil flushing units capable of flows to 1,600 gpm and equipped with laser diode particle counters. Delta Tech has assembled and developed an experienced team of chemical cleaning and decontamination experts able to tackle the simplest chemical cleaning projects to complex, full plant decontamination projects. Extensive training and continuous evaluation is core to our success in both developing and retaining experienced personnel. All key personnel have progressed from field service engineers gaining practical experience executing projects to account managers responsible for planning and managing execution to our decontamination specialists and managers who are responsible forlarge scale/complex projects, technical development of cleaning and decontamination chemistry and the development of our field personnel. Delta Tech maintains preferred chemical cleaning service alliances that include both resident and multi-site agreementswith companies such as Chevron (Resident & Multi-Site), Valero (Resident & Multi-Site), Tesoro (Resident & Multi-Site) and Shell (Resident & Multi-Site). ESSENTIAL TASKS & DUTIES: Service: • Performs repairs and troubleshoots problems, provides telephone support as needed, calibrates, and checks sensing, measuring, and recording instrumentation and circuitry, testing and verification of all functions of said equipment used in the Refining, Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical industries either in major refineries or independent laboratories according to ASTM methods and/or customized methods, according to characteristics of equipment under test and capabilities of procurable test apparatus. Service may be performed at customer site or in house. • Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of test apparatus and peripheral equipment both in-house and in the field. • Services and troubleshoots client server environment PAC software installation. • Operates test apparatus during test cycle to produce, regulate, and record effects of actual or simulated conditions such as dedicated gas chromatographs, specific detectors as well as other physical properties testing and/or as determined through testing methods an elemental diagnosis such as quantity of sulfur, nitrogen, fluoride, ETC. • Performs pre-commissioning activities including system checkout, instrumentation calibration, loop checks, and communication testing. • Tests and tunes company product including machinery testing, control loop tuning and troubleshooting. • Uses computerized equipment, test equipment, and software to perform testing functions. • Manages assigned inventory for repairs to ensure accuracy and proper documentation for transfer before and after assigned service call. • Maintains knowledge of product specifications as assigned. Continues to expand product specification knowledge base. • Able to install and work with Chemstation software and Ezchrom. • In depth knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities of main Gas Chromatography bundles like: Simulated Distillation, Refinery gas Analysis, Detailed Hydrocarbon Analysis, Supercritical Fluid Chromatography and customized bundles. • Supports ASTM methodology by finding root causes of important issues on specific applications and methodologies. • Provides technical support to customers to ensure the right product is chosen for their applications and it’s used in the right manner. • Provides recommendations concerning the development and introduction of new products and/or services based on first hand knowledge of current product performance, applications and customer needs. • Provides mentoring to less experienced field service personnel and customers. • Prepares administrative (expenses, reports, etc.) and service support. Product Use Recommendations and Training: • Translates product, customer and application knowledge into product selection and/or use recommendations that improve product performance and provide increased value to the customer. • Provides technical expertise and product applications training to the customer and internal departments. Provides training at customer sites or at PAC facility. • Creates product application presentations and documentation. • Assist Sustained Engineering in the analysis of product failures, the generation of the related failure reports (ECR’s) and communication of failure analysis and recommendations to the customer. Customer Interaction: • Promotes good customer relations at all times. • Participates in key sales situations for the product. • Maintains communications and contacts to collect and analyze operational and technical information for the product line. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: • Follows all company safety policies and procedures, as well as customer safety policies and procedures when on site. • Assists with related special projects, as required. • Responds to change productively and handles other duties as required. *Qualifications: Must be able to anticipate and assess customer-training needs, train in the field and from remote sites to ensure customer operation of equipment in timely, efficient, economical and safe manner. International: Must be eligible and able to obtain work visa or work permit in country/site of field assignment(s).
