Garvan Woodland Gardens, University of Arkansas

Garvan Woodland Gardens is the botanical garden of the University of Arkansas System.  Located in Hot Springs on Lake Hamilton, this 210 acre site is a popular tourist destination in the mid-South, attracting over 140,000 visitors annually.  The Gardens are administered by the Fay Jones School of Architecture, UA Fayetteville and includes a Japanese Garden ranked 5th best in the US, an English Style Flowering Border, Southern Inspiration Garden, the Perry Wildflower Meadow, Hixson Nature Preserve, and Evans Children's Adventure Garden.  Hot Springs is home to the first national park in America, is at the center of the Diamond Lakes Recreational region of Arkansas, and features a low cost of living.  The University offers fully benefitted state positions to successful candidates.
