(IMI) is a licensed General Contractor and Construction solutions provider with offices in the Athens / Atlanta, Georgia area.   The company incorporated in 1988 and employs over 175 trade related staff focused on helping manufacturers and communities operate more profitability.   IMI has the ability to self-perform its work, but also utilizes a network of competent sub-contractors to create the best possible contracting value for its customers.

The primary focus of IMI is General Construction and Industrial Contracting.   The General Construction Group focuses on new construction as well as improvements that augment existing facilities.  The Industrial Contracting Team offers and supports facility maintenance as well as providing the Construction Group with civil, mechanical, and electrical installation services.

In addition to General Construction and Industrial Contracting IMI offers precision machining and fabrication services.  Those services include replacement OEM parts, new equipment and custom fabrication, and structural steel design and fabrication.
